Originally from the Twin Cities, MN, Bob has been active in a wide variety of musical worlds – from his time with the highly popular Minneapolis-based Latin orchestra Salsabrosa and as a co-founding member of the pioneering modern jazz group Atlantis Quartet (then Quintet), through a wide array of other projects, from hip hop to free improvisation. In the Detroit area, he is a highly active jazz pianist, composer, and teacher, as well as a composer and performer of classical/new music. He can be seen regularly at the Caucus Club, solo as well as with Tiffany Gridiron, in addition to his many other projects as a leader and sideman.

Vocalist Tiffany Gridiron learned to sing in the black gospel traditions of her family church. Since that time, her sultry vocals and playful approach have excited audiences in the United States, Japan, Finland and South Korea. Her foundational jazz influences are three of the greatest jazz singers of all time: Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan, and her contemporary influences are Diane Reeves and Jill Scott. She has recorded 5 CDs released by Sony Records in Japan that have featured such greats as pianist Hank Jones, drummer Omar Hakim, and many others.
