Kenny Parker’s blues education began with the Beatles in the early 1960s, but it wasn’t long before he discovered the roots of their music. Parker grew up in Albion, Michigan and began playing in his first band, the Esquires, at 14. He discovered Albert King and B.B. King in high school via the local record store, and he took his inspiration from them. After graduating from Eastern Michigan University in 1976 and took a job in a Cadillac factory while looking around for the right opportunities to play blues at night. He began working with a paragon of the Detroit scene, Mr. Bo (Louis Bo Collins), and later joined the Butler Twins. While Parker toured Europe with the Butler Twins, JSP founder John Stedman heard him and decided to sign him up for his own recording. The Butler Twins accompanied Parker on his debut recording “Raise The Dead,” where he was also backed by harp master Darrell Nulisch, best known for his work with Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets

This accomplished guitarist and bandleader has performed covers and originals on stage for 25 years. He's been on bills with all genres of national acts from David Lee Roth to EnVogue. You may have seen him play recently in clubs and at festivals throughout Metro Detroit, including Arts, Beats & Eats and the recent Winter Blast event in downtown Royal Oak.

Lauren LaStrada, is an actress, singer, published author and motivational speaker. She is the recipient of 6 Best Actress Awards and 5 nominations, for her work in Stage and Film. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and The Actors Equity Association for professional theatre. As a youth, she studied classical piano, violin, french horn, latin dance and is also a former competitive figure skater. Lauren is alumni of The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and The Detroit School of Arts.

Caleb Gutierrez is a dynamic funk, soul, and R&B band based in Metro Detroit. Known for their infectious grooves and Latin-tinged flair, the group delivers energetic renditions of classics by Motown, Otis Redding, and James Brown, along with a few original tunes. Fronted by soulful vocalist Caleb Gutierrez and guitarist Ray Ureña, the band also features the talents of saxophonist Michelle, bassist Rocco, and drummer Evan. The Satellites have shared the stage with national acts like The Spin Doctors and Eddie Money, making them a go-to band for bringing timeless music to life with fresh energy and style.

Chris Emmerson is a multi-instrumentalist from Detroit, with hundreds of performances over the past 25 years in the area. He has gained recognition as a lead guitarist and singer-songwriter, being featured on local radio and television sharing his blend of soulful, bluesy rock.

The “C” Notes is a long established jazz trio in Detroit, regularly performing at local jazz clubs and restaurants. The group specializes is both classic jazz standards, as well as more modern jazz/rock classics. The Trio features Mark LoDuca Sr. on piano and vocals, Robert Conner on bass and Julian VanSlyke on drums. All veterans of the local jazz seen.
